Melissa is originally from
Jamaica, but grew up in
London, England. She
started dancing at the age of
14. While in London, she
worked as a dance
instructor at the Steps
Dance School. Her credit
include performing at
various venues throughout
England and touring with
London's Upcoming Artists
Group. She has also
performed in a few music
videos. Melissa is
constantly honing her craft
and perfecting her
technique she trains at the ,
Alvin Ailey Dance Studio
and the Broadway Dance
Center in New York.
The creative and
directive force behind
Unity Dance Studio,
"Miss Yolanda" as she
is called by her students
has been dancing for
many years. Formally
trained in Ballet, she
currently teaches the
Creative Movement
class. Miss Yolanda
uses her creativity to
design and sew the Unity
Dancers performance
costumes as well as
coordinate their
performances.

Bosha works as our assistant
dance instructor. A dance
student at OHS, she also
attends classes at Maria
Priadka School of Dance.
Bosha helps to choreograph
the Hip Hop dance routines
and choreographs her own
solo routines.
Bosha loves to dance and
aspires to be a dance
choreographer.
Bosha says that when she
performs on stage, everything
comes to light.

Crystal Rogers has been dancing
for over fourteen years. She began
training at Lakewood School of
Dance and Theatre in Lakewood,
NJ. Graduated from Freehold
Performing Arts Center in 2000
where she studied ballet, jazz,
modern, acting, and voice. Studied
jazz at Spring Lake Theatre in
Spring Lake, NJ.
Crystal became professional in
2001 at Jewel Box Theatre in
Ocean Twp, NJ where she traveled
to perform the director’s original
works.
In 2004 Crystal began dancing at
local churches, which lead to her
first liturgical student.
By 2005 she had a dance team of
six. She also began to choreograph
movement for gospel groups at this
time.
Crystal has recently joined UDS!
